Have you worked repairing, servicing and maintaining height safety / fall protection systems such as Access Ladders, Gantries, Walkways, Platforms, Handrail Systems, Safety Lines, Rope Access Systems, Fall Restraint / Fall Arrest Equipment, Automation Equipment, Access Control Systems, Eyebolts and / or Abseil Anchors / Posts? If you have then great, you could be an ideal match to what we need.

**If not, but you have worked in one of the following roles**: Cell Tower Technican, High Rise Window Cleaner, Tree Trimmer / Tree Surgeon / Arborist, Wind Turbine Technician, Scaffold Builder, Bridge Inspector, Firefighter, Power Line Technician, Roofer, High Rise Iron Worker or any other job that has involved working at heights or as a past time go Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Bungee Jumping, Skydiving, Base Jumping, Hand Gliding or any activity that involves heights and you can use ‘hand and power tools’ and enjoy working outside, then this job could be ideal for you as the company will provide full training and support.

ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

The key requirement, which is absolutely essential is the ability to work at heights and use hand and power tools.

JOB OVERVIEW

Once trained or as an experienced Height Safety Fall Protection Maintenance Engineer you will join a team to deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to height safety equipment.

As a Height Safety Fall Protection Maintenance Engineer you must be very comfortable working at height and outdoors. This job will involve travelling to client sites, so you will need excellent time-management and organisational skills.

DUTIES

Your duties (once trained) as a Height Safety Fall Protection Maintenance Engineer include:
Deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to height safety equipment including the following:
Fall Arrest and Life Safety Lines

Eyebolts - fall restraint and abseil

Gantries and walkways

Guardrails

Ladders - fixed and portable

General lifting equipment

Ensure that health and safety regulations and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards.

To highlight any further works required following service or reactive works

Support of other divisions when required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Height Safety Fall Protection Maintenance Engineer you will have the following:
Smart and professional appearance and manner

Full, clean driving license

Experience / competency to work at height

Relevant experience working in a similar role

Must have the ability to work productively on your own or within a team

Good communication skills, be well organised and have a high attention to detail
