Kitchen Assistant

Mabbs Hall Care Home is situated in the centre of Mildenhall, so it’s easy to get to and has strong links with the community. We provide nursing care for 29 residents, and they are supported by our skilled and dedicated teams to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible.

Role:
To keep our beautiful and friendly home running smoothly, we are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our team for 22 hours per week, including alternate weekends. We need caring and compassionate people to help us provide the type of home environment you’d want your own relatives to have.

You will assist the chef in preparing and serving all meals and beverages to our residents and their visitors, including special diets and function work.

You will help to keep the kitchen clean and safe, maintaining stock levels and complying with the rules of Health and Safety at Work in relation to the kitchen and kitchen practice.
