Job Title: Buyer (Indirect)

Location: Grantham

**Salary**: £30,000 - £35,000

Hybrid: 2 days from home.

An exciting opportunity with large multi-national organisation, based in Warwick are looking for a Buyer to join their Purchasing team. This opportunity is with one of the biggest food manufacturers in the country and is looking for a talented individualto come and progress through their team. Do you think you have what it takes?

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage contracts with core suppliers in each category.
- Negotiate improved prices and terms of business with key suppliers.
- Work with internal stakeholders, capital equipment & bespoke projects to ensure purchasing input from the project start.
- Liaise with European/Global plants to identify leverage opportunities.

**Key Skills**
- Strong negotiation skills, contract management knowledge and experience understanding cost makeup.
- Strong relationship builder with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation as well as with external suppliers.
- Drive to achieve best value and ongoing cost reduction.
- A proven record of purchasing non-production materials and commodities.
