We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Workers to become part of our wider health care team, which provides high standards of care to our patients.

This vacancy is for positions in the Emergency Department.

You will attend a robust clinical induction program, and comprehensive practical based program, to gain the skills and knowledge to provide quality care to our patients. We will provide you with the tools to gain your care certificate if you have not already completed it.

The Health Care Support Worker works as part of the department team under the supervision of registered nurse and:
Participates in the delivery of patient care

Contributes towards department organisation

Support registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.
