**A little bit about the Planned Works team**
We're responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out the major improvement works to our customers’ homes including kitchen renewals and bathroom replacements right through to roof replacement and insulation. In addition, our team of Contract Surveyors also specify and implement a variety of special project works throughout the year delivering solutions for more complex issues.
**Your new role**
Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional and friendly?
We're looking for a Multi Trade Kitchen Fitter, who will be carrying out kitchen replacements to a high standard with an emphasis on delivering an efficient service to Abri customers.
You'll be covering sites across Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and surrounding areas and working as a great team player, you'll be carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.
You'll be a good communicator, have an achievement based approach to your work and be motivated. A City & Guilds or NVQ qualification relating to the above trade skills and previous experience is required.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch - we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- To carry out plumbing and carpentry repairs and kitchen installations to our properties, in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all works are planned, programmed and completed to the satisfaction of our customers.
- To include all plumbing within the kitchen, installation of units & worktops, tiling and any repairs required.
- To achieve quality in carrying out multi trade work and that you comply with our health and safety policies and statutory legislation.
- To provide technical advice, support, or guidance to other departments within the Abri group to enable them to carry out their duties.
- To work with our colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team where appropriate providing support where needed in the interests of effective and efficient services and in particular the contract teams.
There'll be a further requirement to cover an out of hours service on a rota basis
In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the organisation by using your ‘can do’ attitude to provide a high-quality, ‘right first time’ service to our customers all while being the friendly face of Abri.

Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 50,000 homes and various community assets, serving 114,000 customers. Silva Homes joined Abri in October 2023 making the group a financially stronger and more resilient organisation. Silva will operate as a separate legal entity under the Abri Group umbrella before fully transferring in 2024.
