**About Our Home**:
Based in the heart of Maida Vale close to the historic BBC Radio studios, Beachcroft House is a new purpose-built home fitted complete with modern furnishings. Opened in September 2020 Beachcroft House is a block-bed contract home, dedicated to supporting the Westminster Council for up to 84 older people with physical disabilities, frailty, and/or living with dementia. All en-suite rooms are spread over five floors, each having a dedicated activity room and lounge. Beachcroft House was constructed with residents in mind, ensuring that their comfort, safety, and wellbeing were at the forefront of every decision.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining the building and equipment
- Carry out routine checks weekly, monthly, annually on systems in the home and ensuring that external checks are carried out within the agreed timeframe - e.g Loler testing
- Maintain good communication and relationships with other teams and colleagues at the House.
- Maintain awareness of the Home's policies and procedures especially the Fire Policy.
- Participate in Training and Development as an individual and as part of the team.
- Get involved in the induction of new staff by training them on the building layout and fire policies and procedures.
- Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.
- Control and ordering of stock and acceptance and checking of deliveries.
- Maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements.
- Observe and maintain high levels of communication within the teams of staff, individual colleagues and residents.
- Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.
- To carry out any additional duties as requested.
