**Your Journey Begins**:
As an apprentice, you'll train to acquire a Degree Apprenticeship in Material Science with the University of Derby. Spend 80% of your time with us, making meaningful contributions to our projects, while dedicating 20% to campus study and self-directed learning. Engage in experimental work in our state-of-the-art facility, collaborating with specialist teams across various industries.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 x grade B or above ‘A’ Levels in Maths plus Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
- 5 x GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade B/6 or above, and Physics or Chemistry at grade B/6 or above

**Experience**:
Experience in laboratory work, engineering, or materials science is advantageous. Whether you've worked in ceramics manufacturing or conducted day-to-day laboratory activities, your hands-on experience and independent thinking skills are valued here.
