**The Company**

Intermach Engineering was established 25 years ago and is a privately owned company. We specialise in producing quality components for a variety of high end sectors. We own all of our machines, buildings and assets and we operate on a long term strategy. We have a great team and are looking for a new member to join us.

**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator/Assembly Operator. Previous CNC Turn/Mill operating experience would be an advantage but is not essential. If you have a good level of experience within a previous production role and a good eye for detail, we will provide training. There are two roles, one is for day shift, which will be 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1pm Friday. The other is shift work 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm alternating weekly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- We will provide training for all of these responsibilities
- Operate a selection of mill/turn Puma CNC lathes and Haas CNC Mills
- Quality checking of machined parts to existing operator check sheets
- Monitor and control the quality of parts produced using both standard measuring equipment and CMM Machines (training will be provided for our CMM's)
- Monitor and control tool wear and tool change requirements
- Assembly of small hand held sized components

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience working with CNC lathes or mills would be an advantage, but not essential **OR **experience of working within a varied quality manufacturing/production environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You should be enthusiastic and enjoy being busy
- Able to work with a flexible approach in a dynamic workplace
- We do not require any CNC Programming or setting knowledge for this role

**The Job and Conditions**
- Full time, permanent position
- £12.00 Per hour (Shift work plus 20%)
- Attendance bonus paid quarterly
- Half yearly company wide performance bonus
- 25 days holiday per year
