Reporting directly into the Finance Director, Duties & Responsibilities of the Transactional Finance Manager will include:

- Create and implement best practice Finance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas of potential improvements
- Ensure that the company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
- Assist the Finance Director with all budgeting and forecasting activities and provide analysis where appropriate
- Responsible for the management of cash book and bank reconciliations, including cash flow forecasting; Purchase& Sales Ledgers, Credit Control, Accounting for franchise, Assets, Stock, Retention, Prepayments, Accruals, VAT, PAYE and CIS tax, Bad Debt/CreditNote provisions, Finance/Operating Leases, rebates and any other general ledger entries
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
- Drive the continuous improvement of accounting practices
- Stay up to date with financial regulations and technological advances in accounting software
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
- Ensure an accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly and year-end financial information, including the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Work with the Finance Director to ensure clean and timely year end audit
- 3+ years' experience of sales, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations
- Good Excel and data manipulation knowledge
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Technical awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Ability to review current processes and to make recommendations for improvement
- A proactive and supportive attitude
