We have a number of exciting temporary one year Logistics Planner roles available to work within a team in our operations department. These will initially be for a 12-month fixed term period but may have the opportunity to be extended. Internal applicants will be considered for secondment with line manager support.

Working as part of a wider team and having line management responsibility for a Support Officer, you will lead the service delivery in respect of logístical needs to a large-scale operation.

You should have proven experience of contributing to the planning of large-scale events as well as the ability to work under pressure in respect of deadlines and you will possess strong negotiating and persuasive skills enabling you to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.

Whilst the role requires working closely with other planners and support officers, there will be times when you are lone working and required to travel to various locations throughout the working day to assess suitability of service provision.

After the initial implementation phase, the role will be required to work a shift pattern covering 24/7. The roles will be based at Devizes Police HQ, with the requirement to work from other locations but with the potential for hybrid working.

**Responsibilities**:
