YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PRIORITISE YOUR WORKLOAD, BE PROACTIVE AND ENJOY INTERACTING WITH A VARIETY OF CUSTOMERS DAILY.* You will be the first point of contact for every person entering the site, responsible for ensuring that all rules are followed, and customers remain safe. This role is a key holder, opening and closing the weighbridge, and the point of contact for yard personnel in case of an emergency. Reporting to the site manager, key accountabilities include:

- Operating the weighbridge, ensuring all products and materials are booked in and out correctly.
- Stock management, and the recording, management and accounting for all payments received.
- Liaising with other departments to maintain a smooth running of the site.
- Inspecting loads before booking in to ensure the correct waste type is categorised.
- Informing customers of new products and services available, upselling specific products that may be if interest and ensuring the weighbridge is always presentable.
- To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand, and adhere to all policies and procedures. Within this role you will be expected to use a variety of computer systems, so we ideally require someone who is competent and IT literate. You will also need to be confident speaking on the phone to customers. Experience of working in a customer-facing environment or within a similar role is essential. Good communication skills both written and verbal are needed, and the ability to build solid relationships across the business and with our customers. Standard hours of work will be 06.45/07:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday. Some flexibility on working hours will be required to suit the operations. *What you’ll get:
