Recruiting for a part time-full time position in the coffee shops at UHCW. Opening hours for our store are between the hours of 6am - 9pm.

ISS in the UK provides high quality facility services designed to maintain the fabric and appearance of buildings. ISS provides facilities management; cleaning & hygiene services; maintenance and building services; catering; security; landscaping and a wide range of other tailor-made services for customers throughout the Public and Private Sectors.

As a retail barista you will work in any one of our Retail Coffee Shop Outlets based at the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. The role includes the following:

- Serve beverages and hot food items to customers in a polite and courteous manner and to brand standards.
- To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety, Food Safety and Personal Hygiene.
- To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Report faulty machinery/ equipment immediately.
- Reconcile customer purchases using electronic till and process payments by cash or card.
- Monitor and record temperatures of prepared food in line with food hygiene legislation.
- Monitor and re-stock pre-packed food and beverage points.
- Clean and re-stock food and beverage vending machines.
- Clear tables of used crockery and cutlery and the make tables ready for use by other customers.
- Assist with the washing and cleaning of crockery, cutlery, utensils and equipment.
- Complete routine cleaning of customer, food serving and food preparation areas of the retail coffee shop outlets to maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Empty waste bins within retail outlets and remove sacks of waste to collection points

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Barista or Hospitality: 1 year (required)
