We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Sundean Veterinary Clinic in Hartpury.

We have a friendly and passionate team who are committed to providing the best veterinary care possible to our patients, and our veterinary receptionists play a valued and essential role in our practice.

Your duties would involve:

- Cleaning. Our support team are proud of our clean, tidy and hygienic premises and you would share these valued duties
- Greeting our clients and furry patients, and making clients feel welcome and listened to from the moment they walk in
- Booking appointments in person and over the phone
- Taking payments
- Answering general enquiries
- Stock control
- General administrative duties

We will provide all training required for the technical parts of the job and we are primarily looking for someone who is friendly, approachable and eager to learn.

Our team have a can-do, positive attitude and we like to solve problems, rather than complain about them

Likely shifts, although there will likely be additional shifts for sickness/ holiday cover:
Monday: 2-7pm

Wednesday: 8:30-2:30pm

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**:

- Excellent written and spoken English and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- A valid UK driving license is required

Previous veterinary experience would be advantageous but not essential as we will provide all training.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 11 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
