Iba Cashier

Based in Glasgow, our Finance Team are looking for an IBA Cashier to join them. It’s a dynamic role that plays a key part of the team so you’ll need to have a high attention to detail.

The role itself is all about reconciling and settling our client company bank statements. It is an integral role and plays an important part of the larger working of our organisation.

**Your Role**:

- Handling cash allocation, recording and reporting any anomalies on outstanding lists, and working until you find a resolution; with the help of other teams within our business.
- You process and record high volume manual payments via online banking system.
- Ensure an efficient operation of team processes and liaise with banks, complete bank reconciliations and meet deadlines.
- Manage the daily reconciliation of all client bank accounts, review company bank statements and agree the balance. You'll also action a daily audit of Cash Book system reports.
- Ensure month-end and money calculation date obligations are achieved.
- Assist with all internal/external audit requests.

**Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- We are seeking an ambitious individual that is educated to A level or equivalent with superb social skills.
- You possess a natural ability to take complex information and translate this clearly to your audience.
- A good knowledge of insurance products, previous experience working in Financial Services and Insurance will make a real difference.
- Multi-tasking, prioritising workload and forward thinking are essential when it comes to achieving strict deadlines.
- Superb interpersonal skills, detailed approach and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
