Xodus Group continues to grow its decommissioning support offering to the energy industry and we now have a need for a Graduate Consultant to join our UK-based Environment Division. Working as a key member of our busy Environmental Impact Assessment team, you will primarily provide support to a suite of decommissioning projects. You may also use your skills to support our work in the wider Environment team (such as renewables, cables, oil and gas development) and in other locations (Australia, USA) should the opportunity arise.

Xodus continues to grow its support offering to the offshore energy industry and we are always looking for Graduate Environmental Consultants to join our Environment Team.
The Environment Division at Xodus provides scientific, consenting, advisory and strategic consultancy, often in collaboration with our other discipline-led divisions in Xodus including our Decommissioning, Subsea and Renewable Engineering Divisions. As a truly integrated consultancy, you will work with environmentalists and a range of technical specialists from across the company to solve our clients’ decommissioning challenges.
Day to day activities are varied but may include desktop studies, analysis of environmental data, impact assessment, preparation of clear and concise environmental reports, licenses and consents documentation. You may also support in the management of project programmes and budgets.
You will be supported and mentored on the development of your career and will be given responsibility and purpose from day one. Within the role you will be given training and support from across Xodus on different industries that we work in (and synergies between them), on specific environmental technical topics, and project management.
- General understanding of impact assessment
- Knowledge of marine environment, ecology, policy and consenting
- Commitment to developing your technical knowledge and a positive approach to professional development
- Initiative, innovation and passion
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience of other software or digital skills is beneficial)
