It’s rare in the insurance industry that we see Team Leader positions, however my client based in central Nottingham is looking for a Senior Client Advisor / Team Leader to join their team.

Due to an internal promotion, a small team of three Client Advisors need a Senior Client Advisor / Team Leader to take the team leading responsibilities and get involved in looking after some complex cases. The business is quite income driven with a focus on the numbers, also focusing on processes and procedures. You will attend regular meetings with senior members to discuss strategy etc.

The team deal with risks in Ireland, specifically Southern Ireland where the business operates as a wholesale broker working with 4-5 brokers, one of which provides c90% of the business. You’ll be dealing with larger complex cases - 95% of which are property owners (large shopping centres etc, plus the odd trading case). So, experience in this area would be a massive benefit, however my client will consider cross commercial lines experience should you have an understanding of commercial property owners risks.

Main duties will include looking after the team and being a technical referral point, balancing the income, checking on the figures, holding half yearly and annual reviews, monthly one to ones with the team and monthly team meetings with the Irish and UK teams.

Agile working is on offer with currently two days working in the office in central Nottingham and the other three days working from home. Wednesday and Thursday are core days.
