Sunderland, United Kingdom Nigel Wright Full time

**Overview**
Our client is a leading online gaming company which is growing rapidly and needs a number of.NET full stack developers to come onboard and join their phenomenal Software Platform teams, hosted on AWS Cloud Technologies. Their approach is different to manyof their competitors in that they produce all of their software themselves; in fact, just about every aspect of the company is managed in-house. They have created all of their own games and take pride in their technical innovation and the strength of the developmentand design teams who use cutting edge technologies to drive the business forward.
**What will you do?**
Our client uses many technologies and will use the best tools for the job.At the very least, you can expect to work with the following technologies on a daily basis:

- C# ASP.Net MVC (Framework & Core), Node.js
- VueJs, TypeScript
- AWS - Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS (to name a few)
- Docker, Terraform, Packer, TeamCity, GitHub
- MSSQL, MySQL, Redis

You’ll be using these tools to:

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for their clients to consume
- Create and maintain the background services that form the backbone of their platform
- Innovate new features and capabilities

Do you need to be familiar with all of the tech listed above to apply? Absolutely not, you will learn and grow your skills on the job.
**About you**
Our client looks for the following from their people:

- Good communication. It sounds cliché but things like being able to express your ideas clearly, talking to non-technical colleagues and effective feedback during code reviews are incredibly important.
- A desire to learn. The platform team do a lot of things other companies don't, so there is a lot to learn. But that's a good thing as they don't want to stand still. They want people who want to improve themselves
- Suggest improvements. They're constantly looking to improve the way they do things. From managing their workloads, to the way they deliver their code. They have an open attitude to new ideas. If you don’t like the way something is done all they ask is thatyou suggest a better way of doing it
- Think of new and unique ways to improve their customer's experience. Ultimately that is what the business is about, giving value to customers.

**Benefits**
They know that having a happy team is key to creating the feel-good factor that helps them be the best they can be as a business, so they offer a competitive range of benefits including:

- Free breakfast, lunch & barista coffee 5 days a week
- Company Quarterly bonus
- Hybrid working (any 3 days in the office & 2 days at home) with core hours between 10am-4pm)
- Dedicated desk in the office
- Private Healthcare
- Pension
- Continuous learning & development
- On-site free gym
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays which increases with length of service, as well as the option to buy holidays
