**Post Title: Quality Inspector**

**Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience**

**Job Purpose**: Fully co-ordinate all inspection activities on shop floor to ensure site performs to all Customer requirements and Company expectations in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Measure product using coordinate measuring machine to Customers drawings and specifications.
- Measure product using various metrology equipment to Customers drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and complete ISIR reports for Customers product.
- Carry out quality check on products before shipment to Customer.
- Carry out quality checks on painted product
- Maintain internal calibration system.
- Develop and maintain inspection standards to ensure highest quality product to customers.
- Carry out process and product audits
- Liaising with engineering and manufacturing in new part introduction.
- Provide guidance and training to shop floor personnel on quality matters.
- Enforce strict safety and quality standards in line with company standards.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.

- Meeting and satisfying Company HSE and Quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.

**Health and Safety responsibilities**
- Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation.
- Comply with Company HSE policy and procedures at all times
- Lead by example and promote Company HSE policy and procedures.

**About you**
- Proven experience as Quality Inspector.
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine experience.
- Experience in Metrology essential.
- Experience in paint inspection essential.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Organisational and leadership abilities.
- Good Knowledge of MS office and ERP systems.
- Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £14.54 per hour
