**Social Worker-CWD-South Kent**

**Disabled Children’s Team, South Kent Coast & Thanet**

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need.

**Duties**:

- Work with clients to identify their needs and develop a plan of action
- Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with a variety of issues, including workforce development, Medicare, Section 8, child welfare, childcare, and more
- Supervise and mentor other social workers
- Conduct home visits to assess living conditions and provide resources as needed
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to help clients achieve their goals

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Active state licensure as a Social Worker
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in social work or related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
