We have a great opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our thriving Scottish Construction business.
**Location**: Glasgow, Scotland - travel to sites
**Contract**: Full Time Permanent
**What will you be responsible for?**
As Senior Construction Planner you will work closely with both Construction Delivery and Pre Construction Teams to offer planning expertise at both tender and delivery stages. Working on exciting construction projects that can range from £10M - £100M in value.
What will your day to day will include?:
- Working closely with project teams to assist in developing realistic target construction programme, retaining an overall monitoring capacity to ensure construction plans are created, updated, and amended in line with needs.
- All aspects of planning, phasing, programming and sequencing for our tendering activity, including the coordination of design, commercial and production activities into one truly Integrated Programme.
- Creating of look ahead programmes, individual trade package programmes as well as monitoring and updating progress to undertake regular progress monitoring drop lines.
- Developing ideas to drive improvement and consistency in the timely delivery of our preconstruction preferred bids and our live projects.
- Supporting and mentoring project leads to ensure they have the technical software skills to produce their own regular look ahead programmes, advise on affect of any project slippage on existing programmes and update accordingly
**What are we looking for?**
This role of Senior Construction Planner is great for you if you can demonstrate:
- Demonstrable experience working on build tenders and live projects within a construction main contractor environment.
- Expert knowledge of NEC and JCT Contract Conditions
- Good construction technical knowledge across work packages relevant to buildings focussed construction projects.
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification (HND Level Min)
- Expert in the Use of Asta Power Project
- Full UK Driving License
