A growing pet food brand is recruiting for a Key Account Manager, on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the COO, you will play a key role and potential develop in to leading a team also. This role can be remote based with periodical visitsto the company’s office in Hassocks.
- This is a remote role, that supports working from home, with periodical visits to the office in Hassocks._

**Salary**: £45,000 - £48,000 p.a. plus car package, potential company bonus and other company benefits

**Suitable for**: National Account Manager / Key Account Manager

**The Role**

Manage and grow key offline accounts in the UK marketplace, ensuring the business performs strongly in-store
Oversee day-to-day operations of 4-5 key accounts, and be direct contact for these offline accounts
Conduct regular store visits and audits
Work closely with B2B and D2C teams to ensure consistency in the marketplace
Grow business with existing key accounts
Support new product launches and implement CPI’s to relevant accounts
Work closely with NPD, branding and online marketing teams to identify opportunities
Complete monthly paperwork for key accounts in a timely manner
Identify exclusive promotional opportunities with key accounts and ensure successful implementation of campaigns

**The Person**

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a friendly and approachable demeaner.
Experience in the UK pet industry would be beneficial, however not essential.
Experience working in the FMCG (food & drink) industry is essential.
Understanding of pet nutrition is beneficial, and confidence handling large revenue accounts.
The role will entertain some travel to both office and customer head office
Strong negotiation skills
Experience building joint business plans (JBP)
