A new opportunity to join our Finance Systems Team as a Finance Systems Analyst has arisen.

The role of Finance System Analyst will lead the system improvement, managing system access, develop workflows, document key processes, and providing technical support for users across the wider group.

**About the role**:
Supporting the Head of Financial Systems Team in managing the Adaptive budgeting planning and forecasting system to ensure: it is fit for purpose by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information.

You'll be an integral member of the Finance System Team with the primary objective to develop Sanger's Finance and budgeting forecasting processes, integration with the finance system, how the Finance functionality impacts on users and how to develop the system to manage organisational risk whilst meeting the needs of users.

Providing technical accounting and system expertise to other cross-functional teams.

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience in Workday Adaptive or similar BI forecasting tools
- Experience in Financial Budgeting and Planning system with Adaptive Insight preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems (or related area) and/or, part-qualified accountant
- Experience of finance system, preferably UBW
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with all levels of management and staff and clearly present ideas and solutions to more complex technical issues.
- Proven ability to influence and persuade.
- High level of problem solving/analytical skills.
- Ability to actively question and listen to be able to problem solve.
- Experience in driving and managing change in a complex organization.
- Proven ability to develop and maintains effective working relationships with stakeholders, customers and cross-functional teams with an approach that is open, flexible, and transparent to identifying solutions with a personal ethos of continuous improvement.

**About Us**:
The Finance Systems Team support the critical Finance and Procurement systems including UBW, Adaptive, Concur.

We focus on improvements and also systems admin to keep the continued functionality of our key systems.

**Other Information**:
Salary in the region of £53,000 to £64,000
