Our Physiotherapy department at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant. Continue your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.
To work alongside the Physiotherapy team ensuring patients receive excellent post-op and Physiotherapy care and rehabilitation.
**As a Physiotherapy Assistant you will**:
- Work with the inpatient physiotherapist on the ward to support with post-surgery rehabilitation and ensuring a safe discharge home for patients.
- Support the Physiotherapists with administrative tasks and stock control.
- Assisting the Physiotherapists in delivering rehabilitation both on the ward and gym if needed.
- Maintain accurate records and an efficient service.
**As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will have**:
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Previous experience of working in a customer/client facing role.
- Computer literacy skills as we use an electronic patient record system.
- To work towards or hold a NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care.
