Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a full-time, permanent **Warehouse Operative** to join our new team in Blyth at the new B&Q flagship site. The site will be a fast-paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.

The Blyth site is a new and exciting opportunity for GXO, this is your chance to help build the foundations for one of the biggest names in logistics.

In return, we focus our efforts on the development of people, processes, and the deployment of best practices within a safe working environment.

You will be working any 5 days from 7, we have two shift patterns available:
Rotating 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

Fixed Nights 22:00 -06:00

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) on a day-to-day basis
- Operate MHE in line with training ensuring safety processes are followed on every occasion
- Get involved in a wide variety of warehouse functions, such as inbound, outbound, and stock control
- Adhere to all safe systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures
- Picking and packing of goods for orders going to B&Q stores and customers’ homes
- Working to meet specific targets to ensure the customer’s requirements are met

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Any MHE licenses are desirable, but not essential as training can be provided
- Be flexible and capable to work efficiently to meet the demands of the operation
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- A safety-focused, detail-orientated, and conscientious approach to your work
