HR ADVISOR

**_We are excited to be recruiting for a leading engineering company for a HR Advisor _**to provide a fully comprehensive, high-level HR advisory service to all stakeholders within the business, supporting the HR team in providing a broad service level provision focusing on
- Performance management
- Disciplinary
- Grievance
- Absence case management and
- Recruitment

**_Responsibilities_**
- Support the HR Team in the effective delivery of a proactive HR service provision to all stakeholders within the business (circa 400 company headcount), with a focus on providing HR operational support to local management.
- Provide focused consistent advice and guidance to managers on all areas of Employment Law to protect the business from litigation.
- Provide guidance and support in the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on absence levels/Bradford Factor Scores and trends identified. Work closely with managers to provide case management support and guidance, advising when occupational health intervention may be required.
- Support in the organisation of recruitment activities, working closely with partners. This involves the development of adverts, advising on best practice assessment tools/techniques, coordinating and taking part in the assessment process, and completingand issuing the necessary paperwork in the recruitment and offer process.
- Assist the wider HR Team in the delivery of the HR People Strategy agenda, by proactively engaging in project work.

**_What do you need to be considered?_**
- Ideally, CIPD Level 5 qualified or willing to work towards
- Experience of delivering a broad HR service provision/advice to include performance management, employment advice, ER issues, absence management and recruitment, etc.
- Open-minded and approachable with a good team ethic
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

**Salary, Benefits and things you need to know?**
- £32,000 + per annum
- Based in Cockermouth
