**Richard Wakefield C.E Primary Academy**

**Location: Burton Street, Tutbury, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9NR**

At Richard Wakefield C.E. Primary Academy, everyone works with pride to achieve their personal best. There are 277 pupils aged from 4 to 11 years. Many of the children live in the lovely village of Tutbury, which is about five miles from Burton-upon-Trent. The school is fortunate to have the spectacular setting of Tutbury Castle in the background.

There is already much to be proud of at Richard Wakefield, but room to grow in pursuit of excellence. In our recent Ofsted inspection in January 2023, we were recognised as a ‘good’ school and we want to continue to improve on that success and embrace future challenges.
