**What you will do in your working day**
- Learn invaluable warehouse and stock management skills, including automated processes.
- Develop assembly skills, gaining an understanding of a manufacturing assembly line, including production efficiency and quality.
- Assist in the unloading of containers, ensuring all pallets and stock are sufficiently wrapped and put away safely in accordance with storage plans and safety procedures.
- Check off deliveries received against delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies.
- Pick orders from designated areas within the warehouse, in accordance with the picking instructions.
- Load vehicles in a safe, presentable manner, highlighting any issues or damage prior to completion and departure.
- Assist with all general warehouse duties, completing them in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist regular stocktaking, taking care with accuracy of reporting.
- Assemble box pack items and quality control of finished.
- Learn about and utilise IT and measurement equipment in support of both stock management and assembly activities.
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with the company policies.
- Maintain quality customer service standards.
- Demonstrate a high level of Health and Safety awareness, complying with requirements.
- Maintain high standards of general site cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Potential use of warehouse equipment, such as counterbalance forklift truck or a flexi high lift machine. Training and certification required will be given where appropriate.
- Make a positive contribution to the growth of this forward-thinking subcontract manufacturing business, understanding its values and vision and supporting the continuous improvement initiatives of the warehouse team.

- Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills in Maths and English, if required

**What to expect before starting**
- **Before starting, we aim to train and upskill individuals with our NOCN accredited courses, these will be once a week, every two weeks, over a three month period. Upon completion of each course, you will receive a certificate. Not only does this look amazing on your CV for employers, but you're able to upskill yourself at zero cost**

**Salary**: From £13,182.00 per year
