Machine Operator

**The Company**
- MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist firm based in the Haltwhistle area. These roles are for long term and will be offered a permanent position after a completion of a successful trial period.

**The Role**
- Attend pre shift team briefings, highlighting issues and discussing targets
- Report any issues which may occur back to team leaders and higher management
- Overviewing various machinery, ensuring smooth running
- Manufacturing plastic containers for the pharmaceutical market
- Operation of machinery, based on a conveyor system
- Carry out visual quality inspection on items, checking for any issues and faults
- Inspecting bottles for blisters, burn marks and cracks, good eye for detail
- Picking and packing duties, place products in correct department within the warehouse
- Repetitive quality inspection, able to single out scrap products
- Hand assembly duties on items throughout the day
- Support production lines, carry out production and assembly duties
- General housekeeping duties, ensure workspace is kept clean and safe at all times

- Excellent attitude and attendance required in order to gain a permanent contract

- 07:00am - 17:00pm
- 17:00pm - 07:00am
