**JOB REFERENCE**: GPR - 03/23

**REPORTING TO**: General Manager

**HOURS**: Based on 4/5 days out of 7, including weekend work.

**LOCATION**: The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat

**SALARY: £10.92 - £14.92 per hour**

**About the role**:
We are seeking to recruit a pro-active Grounds Person with excellent eye for detail to join our team at the Rabbit Hotel & Retreat located in Templepatrick.

Your role will be to maintain all outdoor areas and ensure they are presented to the highest of standards all year round. If you have a passion for horticulture and enjoy working outside this could be the job for you

**The main duties include but are not limited to;**
- Ensuring the excellent presentation and cleanliness of all grounds and back of house areas.
- Ensuring that the grounds are free from all litter, and all rubbish is disposed of correctly.
- Maintenance and upkeep of grass areas, as well as flower beds, etc.
- Work within the guidelines of health and safety operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by the General Manager.

**The Person**:
**Applicants must**:

- Must have previous grounds experience.
- Horticulture work experience (deseirable).
- Have a positive and friendly attitude coupled with an enthusiastic approach to exceeding customer expectations.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
- Have a flexible work approach and be available to work weekends.
