WRC Recycling is a family-run business based in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire, which is committed to supporting Scotland’s strive towards a circular economy. We offer clients bespoke, customer-focused waste solutions across Central Scotland, whilst ensuring customer service is at the heart of all operations.

Due to continued growth and development, WRC is looking for a **Head of Trade Waste Sales **to conduct business-to-business sales for our new **Trade Waste Division.**

This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working and dedicated individual in a newly created Division of an award-winning family business.

**Role Description**

Our Head of Trade Waste role is a full-time, permanent position. Daily tasks include:

- Actively generating new business leads within the trade waste market
- Leading the Trade Waste Division and motivating the team to consistently reach KPI’s
- Door to door canvassing: promoting WRC as a dependable trade waste contractor
- Proactively establishing relationships with commercial customers in the retail, hospitality, and industrial industries
- Conducting team meetings in line with the needs of the business to maximise returns
- Working with the Sales team to consistently drive the Sales strategy forward
- Attending regular Sales events in the search for new trade waste business opportunities
- Be the primary interface between WRC Recycling and commercial customers
- Securing and arranging sale appointments
- Actively listen and provide customers with the best waste management solutions
- Reaching company and personal sales targets
- Gathering market information and opportunities
- Provide accurate calculations and quotes to customers
- Closing sales successfully

**Desirable Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets
- Waste industry experience is essential
- History of achieving new business sales
- Previous experience of team management and motivation
- Experience dealing with commercial clients is advantageous
- A strong commercial background and awareness
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Robust and resilient
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
