**The role**
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or an experienced 2nd year Student Veterinary Nurse to join the weekend team at Medivet Poole (Walton Lodge). We are the main OOH hospital for the Poole area and we also provide an OOH emergency service for other local Veterinary Practices so you will always be busy with a very varied and interesting caseload. This is why we need another amazing RVN to join our team.

This is a part time permanent position, covering 20 hours per week on a Saturday and Sunday from 8.00am - 7.00pm with 1 hour for lunch.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

**Skills and experience**
You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Alternatively, you must be an experienced 2nd year Student Veterinary Nurse who is already enrolled in college.

**Branch**
Medivet 24 Hour Poole provides a range of services, including X-Rays, ECG and Endoscopy. As it is the 24 Hour hospital in this region, it regularly supports other practices in the area with their patients.

The practice is situated close to Poole town centre and is within east reach of beautiful beaches and countryside.
