**Job Overview**:
Axon Moore have an exciting opportunity arisen with a leading business in Oldham, Manchester, who are looking to appoint an treasury assistant into the accounts team. The location for the role is central Oldham, it is envisaged to be a Hybrid working role,2 days in office and 3 days from home.
**Location**: Chadderton
**Main Duties**:

- The role reports to the Treasury Manager and this position is split between half day on Client Bank reconciliations
- and half day on bank admin, as defined below, and is responsible for supporting day to day bank and treasury
- related administrative processes including but not limited to:

- Download and upload bank statements from bank to D365 on a daily basis
- Ensure the processing of all bank transfers for all group companies are completed in an accurate and
- timely manner in accordance with company guidelines.
- Daily generation and posting of bank transactions journals
- Daily generation and posting of ad-hoc bank payments required by the business
- Ensure any processing issues are escalated to the Treasury Manager
- Banking Administration duties including post, banking of cheques, team mailbox management
- Identify process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency and eliminate errors
- Reconciling Client bank accounts - matching items in bank to journals processed
- Resolving Client Bank account queries, identified from reconciliation process, liaising with Cashiers Team
- to resolve issues.
- Creating journals where needed to resolve queries

**Personal Attributes**:

- Ability to deliver accurately at pace
- Experience in a similar finance administration role
- Experience working with online banking and finance systems (D365 or Lloyds CBO is desirable)
- Natural desire to change and improve inefficiencies
- Resourceful with ability to problem solve
- Flexible, self-starter who takes ownership for their work
