**Role**:Warehouse Driver

**Salary: £10.65ph**

**Location**:Salford

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 07.00-15.00 Mon - Fri (when not driving) 07.00 - till job done (when driving) (TEMP-PERM)

Glu Recruit are recruiting for a well-known manufacturing company to ensure a high level of customer service throughout the delivery process, assist with all warehouse

**Main responsibilities**:

- Loads company vehicles in organised and efficient manner to ensure no stock damage and to minimise delivery time.
- Ensures the manifest correlates exactly with the parcels prior to loading the vehicle including cross dock orders.
- Ensures safe and correct delivery of an order to customers' premises and visually checks the stock is in good condition before obtaining a proof of delivery signature from the chemist.
- Ensures any difference in goods leaving the depot as opposed to those recorded on journey sheet is authorised by a supervisor and annotated on the manifest.
- Assist in preparing orders for delivery including picking, checking and packing.
- Assist in all aspects of production within the warehouse as delegated by the management team
- Ensures safe and correct return of stock by visually checking and signing for all customer returns.
- Ensures controlled drug, secure line items and temperature controlled returns are immediately given to a supervisor for correct handling.
- Collects and returns to the Company, any packaging material or delivery trays.
- Ensures any additions to the customer’s deliveries are identified and recorded on manifest
- Ensure orders are stored in the vehicles under the correct storage conditions eg. TC lines
- Adhere to all legal parking and driving restrictions and maintains good general driving standards.
- Observe speed limits at all times
- Completes daily vehicle inspection sheet & ensures the Company vehicle is maintained to a safe and legal standard.
- Completes daily/weekly paperwork including private mileage declaration.
- Dresses in a clean and tidy manner and conducts himself/herself in such a way to present a good Company image to the customer and general public.
- Retrieve as much as information as possible at the time of any accident to allow completion of an insurance form and subsequent investigation.
- Responsible for security and cleanliness of company vehicles, ensuring that the vehicle is always securely locked and keys are kept in a safe place.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Adhere to all site SOPs
- Ensure correct manual handling techniques are used at all times
- Be flexible in relation to delivery routes to ensure holidays/sickness can be absorbed.
- Adhere to GDP standards.
- Report any accidents/breakdowns to the transport office immediately.
- Good geographical knowledge
- The ability to complete the required documentation correctly and efficiently.
- Flexible approach to work
- Able to plan and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
