Are you a regulatory affairs professional looking for an exciting new role?

This role as Product Safety Compliance Officer will ensure that the company complies with all the applicable chemical regulatory requirements for products placed on the market. This role will also involve working in collaboration with other departments suchas R&D, Regulatory, Procurement, Manufacturing. It will be an initial 6 month contract.

Duties of the Product Safety Compliance Officer include;
- Classification and labelling of hazardous products
- Classification and labelling of dangerous goods for transport
- Safety Data Sheet formatting and content
- Restriction and prohibition of chemical components
- Support the R&D Department in optimising product formulations with regards to classification and labelling
- Collecting, archiving and keeping up-to-date relevant information for raw materials being used in the organisation
- Collecting, archiving and keeping up-to-date relevant information for products being put on the market by the organisation
- Establishing adequate management of all SDS's (raw materials, traded goods and products)
- Product notification (UFI/PCN)
- Process improvement

Key Skills Required;
- Degree in a technical or scientific discipline
- Experience in chemical regulations e.g. CLP
- Knowledge of SDS software (EXCESS / SAP PLM)
- SAP experience would be an advantage
