This is up to a 24-month Temporary contract, with a possible opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract.

Working 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Will need to be fully flexible to work across the following shift patterns:

- Mornings 07:00am to 3.00pm
- Afternoons 3.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday finish 10.30pm

Salary is £26,790.43, plus shift allowance for afternoons.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Use a variety of CNC machines to produce high quality cylinder blocks.
- Working with machinery.
- Working within a team
- Following all Health & Safety processes
- Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Previous experience of operating CNC machines to produce high quality parts would be an advantage but full training is provided.
- They will be PC or Handheld Terminal literate with a good appreciation of quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive or engineering desirable but training will be given.
