Office Assistant

Blok ‘N’ Mesh is a market leading specialising in the manufacture, supply and installation of temporary fencing systems. With 5 manufacturing facilities and 30 distribution depots around the UK and Europe, Blok ‘N’ Mesh are well placed in the market both home and abroad.
We are looking to recruit an Office Assistant to join our Redditch Site on a part-time basis, with the potential to become full-time. You will be a key support to the Office Manager, providing essential administrative assistance.
**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Assist with office management and organisational processes.
- Track inventory of office supplies and inform management of any shortages.
- Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate office as necessary.
- Operate and manage office equipment such as printers, copiers, and shredders.
- File company documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Perform data entry tasks as needed.
- Book stock in and raise purchase orders.
- Handle new starter paperwork.
- Book travel and accommodation.
- Schedule deliveries and collections.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers.
**Experience, Knowledge, and Skills**:
- Proven experience as an office clerk or in a similar clerical position.
- Familiarity with office procedures.
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Sage experience is preferred.
**Details**:
- Hourly Rate: £11.44
- Working Hours: 8 AM - 1 PM, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
- This is an exciting opportunity with significant growth potential.
