Duties
- Providing day-to-day cover at the facility.
- Signing up new members, serving at reception, which will include handling cash and cashing up at the end of your shift.
- Ensuring new members are given a full health and safety induction of the premises.
- Planning health and wellbeing groups, activities and exercise sessions.
- To respond to incidents and emergencies and administer first aid when needed.
- To order equipment/resources when required to do so.
- To work as part of a motivated team to provide a welcoming presence to all that visit the facility and to assist, motivate and support members where needed.
- Safety checks and maintenance of equipment.
- Cleaning of all areas of the gym, which will include AM and PM cleaning duties along with hourly cleaning and checks etc..
- To participate in relevant team meetings/training events and contribute to the production and distribution of promotional materials.
- To contribute to the development and delivery of events and projects and the publicity and marketing of them.
- To contribute to involving users, community members and groups in the planning and delivery of projects/open days and consultation.
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of anatomy is preferred but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
