**Rench Farm, Drumclog**:
**Role and responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain a portfolio of Primavera P6 programmes.
- Assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Actively engage with design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure deadlines are met and any efficiencies are identified.
- Resource and cost load programmes so both metrics can be monitored.
- Update programmes from shift reports and maintain trackers in Excel when greater detail is required.
- Produce reports and schedule updates to the client - this is usually on a 4 weekly basis but can be daily on short term projects.
- Attend meetings to give progress updates and help identify any potential risks or issues to maintaining planned dates and costs.

**Skills required**:

- Proficient Primavera P6 user with a minimum of 2 years project planning experience
- Proven track record in maintaining & reporting on project plans in P6
- Able to resource & cost load P6 schedules
- Good working knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Project and importing or exporting data sets _desirable_
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in Rail, Civils or Geotech work _desirable_

**Scale and territory indicators**:
As Project Planner you will primarily be engaged on contracts in Scotland but also throughout the UK. You will be involved in projects which can be considered as major and predominantly within the rail transport infrastructure.

The role is based at QTS Drumclog but attendance may be required at meetings in the Glasgow office and occasional visits to site.
