Currently representing a RIBA Chartered architectural practice who are seeking an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their growing office based near Sevenoaks. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician / Technologist tobuild and develop their career within a talented, well-established team.
The Architectural Technician / Technologist who successfully secures this opportunity will join an ambitious company with talented Architectural professionals within the company. Day to day the role will involve organising, investigating and producing technicalinformation which will be used during the development of the project design.
**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Overview**
- Investigate technical information and factors that affect projects - including client requirements, site/building surveys and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present design proposals.
- Liaise with Clients.
- Work in conjunction with the Contractor for Design & Build projects
- Prepare and present detailed design proposals
- Advise the programming of deliverables
- Manage the internal Bond Bryan project team
- Act as Design Leader in co-ordinating the wider design team
- Contribute to the detailed design process and co-ordinate detailed design information
- Review the Acoustic and Fire reports and incorporate the strategies into the detail design package
- Prepare specifications for construction work
- Prepare drawings, plans and documents for statutory approvals
- Attend Design Team Meetings and Co-ordination meetings, record minutes and prepare any associated documentation
- Contribute to design-stage risk assessments
**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Member of CIAT
- Knowledge of ArchiCAD beneficial, although not essential
- Experience working on large scale Education projects preferred but not essential
- Living in or close to Sevenoaks, Kent or willing to relocate
- Car / Vehicle and Full Driving License
**Architectural Technician / TechnologistPosition Remuneration**
- Salary; £30,000 - £40,000 (dependant on project lead experience)
- Contributory Pension Scheme (matched contribution up to 2%)
