**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, take measurements, and gather relevant data.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project scope and identify potential risks or issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates.
- Utilize industry software and tools to perform precise quantity surveying and cost analysis.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and project specifications.
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, materials costs, and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive and cost-effective estimates.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor quotes and proposals to secure the most favorable pricing and contractual terms.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide accurate cost reports and forecasts.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regional construction market and pricing trends.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
