**Location**:Stanford Depot, Honeywood

**Contract**: Full Time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23k - £28k (weekly paid) + benefits package. With the potential to significantly increase your take-home package with standby, call-out, and overtime.

**Responsibilities**

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you’ll be working within the Highways Team to carry out highways maintenance duties as instructed as well as winter maintenance, and emergency response when required.

Your duties will include:

- Respond promptly to incidents on the network as instructed.
- Carry out a wide variety of maintenance activities including defect rectification.
- Work closely with team members to actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System.
- You will be required to work nights and days as instructed and required to participate in out of hours rotas for emergency response.
- Capable of working under pressure within a safety critical role.

- LGV driving licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Small Plant and tools qualifications
