The Best Connection is currently seeking a Forklift Counterbalance Driver for one of our well established clients in the Shrewsbury area.

**The working hours**:
Tuesday 3am - midday

Wednesday 3am - midday

Thursday 3am - midday

Friday 3am - midday

Saturday 3am
- 9am

**A valid in date counterbalance licence is essential.**

**Immediate starts available**

**Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver**
- Unloading wagons in the morning
- Scanning pallets into the warehouse
- Loading vehicles in the morning from run sheets.
- Picking pallet runs ready for when drivers return.
- Jumping onto APC sort when warehouse is behind.
- General tidying of warehouses and yard
- Dispatching runs on our Palletways system
- Being able to use UPN and Palletways in the long run to check on pallet statuses.
- Learning how to set scanners up for APC drivers.
- Opening up and getting drivers out in a month or two time

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Own transport required
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
