Reliable and organised catering assistant required for full-time post (40 hours) in our **award-winning** nursery school in Altrincham town centre.

**Role involves**:

- **Preparing** and **serving** **healthy meals** and snacks for children at Oakfield.
- Ensuring the kitchen, serving areas and catering environment maintain **high hygiene standards**:

- **Supporting** and **work alongside the Catering Manager**:

- **Step into the Catering Managers’ role **when required (e.g. cover for annual leave, sickness etc). This involves, cooking food for the nursery, managing the kitchen and being responsible for the Catering Manager’s duties, with the support of a Catering Assistant

**Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate** and **previous experienc**e in a similar environment _**preferred**_. DBS clearance will be required.

Hours are 7.15 am - 4.15 pm, Monday - Friday, with one hour unpaid break each day (40 hours per week).

4 weeks paid holiday per year plus public and bank holidays.

Salary £22, 500
