At Masterclass, we have been tasked in recruiting for an amazing SEN all-through school in **Billingshurst**. They provide a safe environment where the children can thrive in their education. They have a colourful, well-equipped outdoor area to expand the children’s learning outside the classroom setting.

The school are looking to recruit for **Support Assistant** who has the skills to develop into a valued member of staff for the individual needs of the children. You will be working with small groups of students who have additional needs from cerebral palsy to hearing/sight impairment. You would be supporting them with their personal progression as well as a specially adapted curriculum.

**Job role**:

- **To support the children’s development across all areas of their development**:

- **Support and encourage positive behaviour management**:

- **Work with groups of children or individuals (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons.**:

- **Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy**:

- **To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school**:

- **To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be**:

- **To be able to provide personal care when needed**

Masterclass Education work exclusively with a large amount of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across the area who look for MCE staff to be with them on daily cover, short and long term contracts.
