We have an exciting opportunity to be part of an outstanding service that provides specialist residential & supported care for adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking an all rounder who can maintain our properties to a high standard of repair, undertake preventative maintenance, and maintain health and safety relating to property matters

With 7 homes across Nottingham and North Notts Blue Sky Care provides registered residential homes and supported living services in the East Midlands for Adults with a Learning Disability and accompanying complex needs such as autism and behaviours that challenge.

**Job duties & responsibilities will include (but are not be limited to)**:
- To ensure we provide a well maintained, homely, comfortable family environment for the people who choose to live or work here.
- To provide support to the Managers in maintaining a suitable environment for the residents choosing to live with us.
- Respond to emergency repair situations in a timely way.
- Liaise with contractors to undertake tasks outside of skill set, feedback on their performance and develop positive relationships with them.
- Treat residents and staff with respect and dignity, respecting their personal choices to deliver a flexible service.
- To read and update risk assessments relevant to the role.
- To ensure accurate records are completed and correctly stored, and updated/reviewed at agreed intervals.
- From time to time to support quality assurance checks on the home.
- To be aware of safe guarding and regulatory procedures reporting concerns to the Maintenance Lead/Manager of the service.
- Any other reasonable duty as directed by a the Operations Manager

We need a driver with access to a vehicle although the maintenance team share a company van.

Please note we will need a clear enhanced DBS check for this position.
