Maintenance Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing various day to day maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our hotel. This is a very hands-on role that requires strong advanced electrical knowledge, joinery, plumbing and decorating. Knowledge and experience of preventative and reactive maintenance a must.
**Responsibilities**:
- Daily maintenance activities, including tasks and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory
- Adhere to and prioritise health and safety policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritise maintenance needs and minimize downtime
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving
- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritise tasks effectively
