Our specialist client has an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join them at their head office in Stoke on Trent. You will be part or fully AAT qualified and will be joining a team of 8 in the accounts department.
**Job Description**:

- Assist with determining and maintaining client's service budgets
- Producing financial reports for clients and internal staff on a weekly and monthly basis
- Authorising and processing client and supplier invoices
- Producing journals
- Reconciling statements
- Deal with queries from suppliers and contractors regarding invoices
- Set up new supplier/contractor accounts
- Assisting with the payment of contractors and suppliers
- Processing sales receipts and bank cheques
- Chase outstanding money owed
- Preparing and issuing sales invoices
- Are part or fully AAT qualified
- Have previous experience in an accounts role
- Have good Excel skills (Vlookups/Pivot tables)
- Possess experience working in a busy and fast paced accounts office
- Have the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexi hours (will consider full time hours or part time school hours)

**Salary**: £22,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience and AAT qualification level)
It is commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Burslem, Tunstall, Hanley, Fenton, Longton, Kidsgrove, Trentham.
