Optimus are recruiting a new gym assistant

We have a unique opportunity to join our team to cover both Rustington and Chichester branches.

We are looking to recruit someone, ideally with gym experience, to cover shifts at both gyms. The role will cover holidays and sickness, plus extra shifts when appropriate. This person would be given their shifts at the beginning of each month for where and when cover is needed, this will include weekdays (mornings and evenings) and weekends.

We have a number of staff and with holiday days all during the month so we would expect at least 16 hours a week with some weeks being up to 40 hours of work.

The main responsibilities of the role are:
- To ensure all members are checked into the gym
- Serve customers in reception with protein shakes, drinks, new memberships etc
- Ensure the gym is clean and tidy
- Fulfil the cleaning duties on that day
- Be responsible for either opening or closing the gym

The person we are looking for:
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Punctual

- Strong communicator
- Be able to drive

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £7.03-£11.42 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
