Butler Rose is thrilled to be working with a sizable, well-known UK company on hiring for their corporate finance team.

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you'll get to put your technical accounting knowledge and investigative skills to use by creating custom reports, complex consolidations, and ensuring that information is shared effectively among various teams while upholding the strictest controls.

The role offers variety and challenge with regular tasks include but are not limited to:

- Support the budgeting and formal forecast cycles including rolling forecast and long-term business planning
- Creation of high-quality reports, analysis and commentary on performance to assist decision making
- Own and manage relationships wider to understand and communicate drivers of month-end performance and forward-looking view to support the achievement of targets
- Understanding of cashflow performance and providing insights on the overall position including risks and opportunities
- Provide inputs into key finance initiatives and support with ad-hoc queries

You'll also display the following skills / experience / knowledge.
- Partly or fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Strong technical background with experience of external financial reporting under IFRS.
- Strong IT including advanced Excel and use of SAP (preferable)
