Van Driver

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-employed van driver at Freedom Couriers
- Immediate start and good rate of pay offered.
- Based at Thorp Arch, Wetherby
- full and part time available
- 1-5 drops a day.
- Although you will be self-employed, we offer 2 weeks paid holiday per year (1 week gained per 6 months worked for the first year, one to be taken at christmas and one during the summer)

At Freedom Couriers we are more than just a delivery company. We work heavily with a custom work top business, delivering these all over the country (no lifting would be required you are meeting fitters on site who do this). **But **this isn’t everything, we work with business in all sectors throughout the UK and can deliver anything from a box of paper to antique furniture.

Role summary:
To deliver all items to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers’ premises, treating their freight as if it were our own.

Key responsibilities:

- A current driving licence is essential for this role, with no more than 6 points.
- Good geographical knowledge
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Problem Solver - Working to resolve customer problems at the point of delivery.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
